Elegant, displaying cinnamon, spices and morello cherry with some toasted notes. The palate is exquisite and open with good complexity. The finish is long and delicious.
Château de Musset, located on the old town of Parsac, is of ancient origin as evidenced by a very beautiful vault topped with an elegant 18th century colonnade overlooking the vineyards and ‘pond. The domain was purchased in 1887 by Pierre and Musset and passed from generation to generation. Belonging to the family for over 150 years, this beautiful area is now owned by Mrs. Jean-Marie Gadenne. A family civil society operates the vineyard covering 7 hectares of sunny slopes ground clay and limestone. The cultivation and vinification are traditional there. The majority is planted with Merlot (70%) with the remainder planted with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, Château de Musset remains a gathering place for the family. Many events offer the opportunity to receive and also to know the area.
Intense ruby-red in colour with a typical Sangiovese bouquet – juicy morello cherries. On the palate is it fruity with deominating cherry flavours. Balanced, lively and rich, with a long complex finish.
Organic & vegan.
Made from grapes planted in 1935 by the Benegas family on the Finca Libertad estate in Maipu, this might be an oddity but it certainly isn’t a gimmick. Deep garnet in colour and a bold expression of the grape in pretty much every respect. Lots of wild red fruits, hints of cocoa and vanilla on the nose; firmly structured with a rich red fruit mid palate and excellent length. Comparisons with Italy are inevitable but ultimately pointless; this is proudly Argentine.
750 ml
The Reserve Shiraz is deepest dark red with a very youthful and vibrant garnet hue. The aromas are powerful and complex with a wealth of fruit. The rich and full palate displays soft flavours of plum skin, mulberry and hiints of vanilla and blackberry. These abundant flavours are underpinned by fine vanillian oak and defined by exciting spicy tannins.
The grapes are selected from the inland, elevated Matapiro region and matures in French Oak Barriques. This vintage shows very good depth of vibrant plum and spice flavours, fresh and smooth.
The colour is an intense ruby red and is a fine sample of a complex wine with dry fruits and truffle. It is spicy and has a humid soil taste. Its tannins are mellow and soft with a pleasant and silky aftertaste.
